{ Hilary & Chris // Married At Glen Echo Park! }
Hilary and Chris are always up for a good time, and good food! They set a whimsical tone for their day by choosing Glen Echo Park as their reception venue. The vibrant vintage amusement park located in Maryland, just outside the District of Columbia still displays some of its original architecture and decor, such as the bumper car pavilion and bold neon signs that say "Popcorn," "Arcade," and "The Puppet Co." Cocktail hour included rides on a carousel that dates back to the 1920s. Guests were treated with tacos for dinner; and for dessert - an assortment of pies and vanilla ice cream! Hilary's tea length dress was absolutely perfect for the day's chosen backdrop, especially when she twirled! As the night grew chilly, she also donned a shawl knitted by the mother of the maid of honor - perfect for cuddling up with her new husband!
You know it’s been an epic wedding when all your guests circle up at the end of the night, swaying together, arm in arm, singing out Piano Man for the last song. It’s clear that these newlyweds are surrounded with the most sincere and enthusiastic love and support - actually quite literally on this incredible day. We all wish you two the very best together!
